CAPITAL Q IS NOW CLOSED FOR BUSINESS!

CAPITAL Q QUIT SMOKING JULY 14, 2012

After 15 years of great Texas BBQ, Capital Q will close its doors in Chinatown

Capital Q has been a fixture in Chinatown since December of 1997. It opened within weeks of the once named MCI center and was one of the first businesses to establish itself prior to the massive development in Chinatown/Penn Quarter. Capital Q has served and catered to a wide variety of clientele over the years and has a loyal following of regulars.

Capital Q has been featured on the Food Network, Southern Living Magazine, Houston Chronicle, to name a few. In the past the Q has been a Washingtonian 100 Very Best and Best Bargain Restaurant.

Capital Q wishes to thank its patrons for the loyal support and fond memories over the years and hopes to reopen in the Nation’s Capital again in the future.

I’ve been a regular at Capital BBQ since 1998, well before Chinatown’s revitalization. I’ve introduced many friends to Capital BBQ who have become ardent fans like myself. I am hopeful Capital BBQ will reopen soon; it simply was one of the best meals you could find in Washington, DC.
